More Information: 1967 Topps Baseball – Ranked #2 on the PSA Set Registry!

This card is part of one of the finest 1967 Topps Baseball sets ever assembled. A total of 609 cards comprise the set, all of which are presented here in stellar fashion as almost every card owns either a PSA Mint 9 or Gem Mint 10 grade. In fact, 469 of the cards are indeed Gem Mint 10 specimens! What’s more is that these are all part of the No. 2 ranked "All Time 1967 Topps with Wax Pack – Master" on the PSA Set Registry!

Over many years of searching, researching, and compiling, our consignor painstakingly purchased each of the individual cards to complete this enormous set. Boasting large color photos bordered by white, each card except for Milt Pappas (#254) includes a facsimile autograph of the featured player across the front. The set is headlined, of course, by two highly sought-after rookie cards: Tom Seaver (#581) and Rod Carew (#569). But many other future Hall of Famers are part of the mix including Whitey Ford (#5), Al Kaline (#30), Frank Robinson (#100), Mickey Mantle (#150), Willie Mays (#200), Hank Aaron (#250), Carl Yastrzemski (#355), Robeto Clemente (#400) and Harmon Killebrew (#469). The scarce "High Numbers" series (#s 534 to 609) contains numerous high-demand cards such as Brooks Robinson, Rocky Colavito, and Tommy John. This compilation was a labor of love for our consignor and now Heritage Auctions is pleased to present it for your bidding pleasure. NOTE: This collection is comprised of 529 individual card lots, one 96-card lot, and one wax pack.
