Description

1946 Cuban Baseball Stars Signed Autograph Book with Dihigo. Charming little autograph album features a couple dozen signatures from the diamond and beyond, punctuated by what is arguably the finest surviving example of the rare Martin Dihigo, the Cuban-born Negro League star whose Baseball Hall of Fame induction came six years after his 1971 passing. His rare black fountain pen ink rates a stunning 10/10, and features his extended autograph and February 3, 1946 notation. Also found within are signatures from fellow Negro League legends Ray Dandridge, Napoleon Reyes and Lefty Gaines. All signatures remain in splendid NRMT condition, and the album itself exhibits mild external wear that causes no detriment to the pages within. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
