Description

1930's Grape Nuts Die-Cut Large Advertising Sign Featuring Dizzy Dean. It's a display piece that has it all--marvelous Depression-era graphics, an eye-popping die-cut design, and Hall of Fame-caliber personnel in the form of a Gashouse Gang period Dizzy Dean. The leading figure of that 1934 St. Louis Cardinals team exhorts youngsters to seek out prizes that only come with the purchase of this classic American brand. The dazzling display piece is constructed of cardboard with a functional easel back, measuring approximately forty inches in height and twenty-six inches in width. Close inspection reveals scattered staining and general wear at the edges, but our catalog imagery should convey that the overall aesthetics have suffered little in the passage of eight decades. One of the finest of its rare breed, for certain.
