1903 James J. Jeffries vs. James J. Corbett Fight Program. On August 14, 1903, James J. Jeffries defended his heavyweight title against former champion James J. Corbett in San Francisco. Jeffries won via a 10th-round knockout after a competitive bout showcasing Corbett's skillful boxing and Jeffries' power. The victory cemented Jeffries' dominance as one of boxing's greatest early champions.This program (5.25x7") was issued for the fight. Champion Jeffries is captured on the front while the other pugilists are inside. The reverse has some paper loss and tape affixed. VG in our estimation.
