Description

1932 Green Bay Packers Team Signed Original "Stiller" Photograph (13 Signatures). Admittedly, this piece doesn't fall into the "once-in-a-lifetime" category as the 1929 team-signed panoramic photograph we sold earlier this year for a record price of more than $15,000. However, it offers an affordable alternative for the most discerning vintage Packers collector, who is in search of an early-era team-signed piece featuring the NFL's most historic franchise. One of the only 1930's Green Bay Packers "Stiller" signed photographs ever offered at auction, this beautiful sepia toned image has been signed by 13 members of the 1932 Green Bay Packers. The 10-3-1 squad, led by Curly Lambeau (who is pictured, but did not sign the photo) features the following signatures in legible black fountain pen ink: Johnny "Blood" McNally (6/10), Mike Michalske (6/10), Clark Hinkle (6/10), Jug Earp (7/10), Tom Nash (7/10), Dick Stahlman (6/10), "Big Al" Rose (8/10), Claude Perry (8/10), Hurdis McCrary (6/10), Harry O'Boyle (6/10), Joe Zeller (4/10), Roger Grove (7/10) and Milt Gantenbein (6/10). An extremely high-grade piece, this 7x10.25" masterpiece presents minimal wear, with extremely small pieces of transparent tape on the corners and one edge. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
