1986 Sports Illustrated Posters Test Stickers Michael Jordan #4465 BGS Mint 9. The 1986 Marketcom/Sports Illustrated advertising cards are connected to the sales for posters Sports Illustrated was producing of the most popular athletes of the day. Posters like these adorned the walls of kids' rooms and closet doors feeling many happy dreams of athletic glory. A four-digit code, which was used to order the posters, appears in the bottom right of the sticker. Once the poster was replaced, retailers could just place a new sticker on top. Advertising items were never produced in mass quantities; a store could sell hundreds of posters with just sticker on a display and they certainly are not readily available today.
