Description

Circa 1930 Lou Gehrig Single Signed Baseball. There's arguably nothing more "American" that a Lou Gehrig single, the human embodiment of the resilient, no-excuses work ethic that built this country paired with the eponymous article of our National Pastime. Here we encounter just such a patriotic piece, a slightly undersized "Junior League" sphere blessed with a 5/10 blue fountain pen side panel autograph from the brave Iron Horse. The horsehide exhibits general handling wear but the visual effect remains strong. Gehrig singles are quite rare, but should be considered an absolute essential for a quality collection. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
