1959 Nu Cards "Rock & Roll" Cello pack Box With 34 Unopened Packs. Offered is a counter display box of "Rock & Roll Stars" cards produced by Nu-Cards in 1959, 35 unopened 5-cent cello packs still housed inside. This set showcased many of the greatest stars from the earliest years of that new musical sound which some say triggered the end of the world - Rock & Roll. Stars showing include Rickey Nelson, Ray Charles, Fats Domino (2), Johnny Cash, Perry Como, Pat Boone, Johnny Mathis, Sam Cooke, Jimmy Darren, The Platters, Paul Anka, Fabian, Frank Sinatra, The Kingston Trio and the Everly Brothers. Other potential stars include Frankie Avalon, Nat King Cole, Booby Darin, Dean Martin and the king - Elvis Presley. The box presents VG with some creasing, buckling and wear. Interior packs are almost all NM to MINT, a few have a very brief corner split.Auction Info
