1991-92 Ken Griffey Jr. Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8. Sweet gamer from Junior's early career is a Louisville Slugger model C271 measuring 34.25 inches in length and weighing 30.4 ounces. Exhibits evidence of excellent use, including cracked handle, ball marks, ball stitch impressions, and cleat marks.Bat expert John Taube notes that Griffey ordered a rare cupped end C271, like the one offered here, on 7/13/92. Getty Images 1312210909 dated 8/20/92 shows him using this type of bat without trademark criss-cross tape application. While Griffey did not use the tape during the early part of his career, it is rare to see him doing such three years later. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8 (1B28114).
