Signed 1969 Topps Rollie Finger - AL Rookie Stars #597 PSA Mint 9, PSA/DNA Auto 10. Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers was one of the greatest closers in MLB history. Through 17 seasons in the Majors, primarily pitching for the Oakland A's, Fingers recorded 341 saves while striking out a total of 1,299 batters. Offered is a 1969 American League Rookie Stars card that shines the spotlight on Fingers and two other promising upstarts: infielder Bob Floyd (Orioles) and fellow pitcher Larry Burchart (Indians). This particular high-grade example of card #597 from the '69 Topps set includes Fingers' sought-after autograph signed vertically next to his headshot in fine-point blue marker. He even added "HOF 92" underneath his signature to commemorate his induction into Cooperstown. Graded PSA Mint 9 with a certified autograph graded PSA/DNA Auto 10.
