Description

1981 Mike Schmidt Game Used & Signed Bat, PSA/DNA GU 7 with Great Provenance. In 1981, Mike Schmidt reaffirmed his greatness, leading the National League in home runs and slugging percentage despite a strike-shortened season. He earned his second consecutive MVP award, showcasing elite power and clutch hitting. Schmidt's leadership and defense at third base solidified his status as one of baseball's all-time greats.

This Adirondack model 300A bat (35.5" and 34.9 ounces) was gifted by Schmidt to a Drexel student in the early 1980's following a Spring Training batting practice session according to the attending letter of provenance. Uncracked, the blonde bat shows moderate use with a few ball marks and stitch impressions on the back barrel. Ball marks include black ink transfers. "20" is written on the knob which also has the model number stamped. Schmidt signed in black felt tip. LOA from original owner. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 7. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
