Description

1936-40 Ernest Quigley Multi-Signed Baseball. Ernest Quigley was one of baseball's most respected umpires during his career as an arbiter. Quigley worked from 1913 to 1937 and was a part of six World Series crews - most notably the 1919 Fall Classic which turned baseball upside down. He was also a respected basketball referee who was enshrined into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1961. Signatures of Quigley are rather uncommon.

This ONL (Frick) baseball dates to 1936-40 and is signed by Quigley (9/10) along with Al Mamaux and Chuck Ward. Quigley is reserved for his own panel. The ball shows game use so it could have seen the field of play. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
