Description
1977 Muhammad Ali Inscribed & Signed Record Album. The most famous boxer of the twentieth century gives the lyricists of the Blue Notes a run for their money as he inscribes the back of their "The Truth Has Come to Light" album sleeve with a distinctive free verse poem. He writes, "To the Blue Notes, When God's Love rises as a wave in the sea, it can wash away the sins of a lifetime in a moment, for law has no power to stand before Love, the stream of Love sweeps it away, From Brother Muhammad Ali, The Greatest Boxer of All Times, April 14, 1977, Love Always." His black ballpoint ink registers at 9/10, and the album exhibits moderate handling wear which causes little distraction. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
