Description

Early 1930's Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig & Ben Chapman Signed Baseball. The iconic Golden Age duo from the Bronx is joined by the Yankees' rookie superstar, who served as the American League's starting center fielder for the first edition of the All-Star Game in 1933. The power slugging pinstripers appear on an OAL (Harridge) sphere featuring the beautiful two-tone stitching that would be discontinued after the 1934 season, creating a keepsake with aesthetics to match its historic import. Ruth projects at solid 7/10 while Gehrig is a notch better. Both can be viewed from the same angle adding collectability. Chapman is on the north panel and is 6/10 with the last name faded. It appears other members of a 1930's Yankees team signed the ball but the autographs are lost to time. Full letter from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
