Description

1920's & 1934 Babe Ruth Dual Signed Baseball. Can't decide if you like the Bambino better with or without quotation marks? Now you don't have to choose! The presented OAL (Johnson) sphere first encountered the Babe around the time of his glorious 1927 sixty home run season, when it was blessed with a standard period "Babe" Ruth sweet spot autograph. Some years later the fan went back for seconds, gaining a second, quotation mark-free side panel autograph which Ruth dated "April 11th, 1934." The older signature rates 3/10, while the more recent model is much bolder but suffers from surface abrasions which has deleted half of the legendary ballplayer's surname. Still a rare study of the Babe's two most prominent autograph variations, sure to intrigue the educated hobbyist. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
