1938 Goudey Jimmy Foxx #273 SGC EX/NM 6. From the John Esch Collection. Picking up the home run headlines after Ruth was slugger Jimmie Foxx. From 1931 to 1940, Foxx belted over 400 round trippers and averaged 137 RBIs. Our offered card is from one of his best seasons, one in which Foxx slapped 50 homers (finishing second to Greenberg's 58), batted .349 and added 175 RBIs to his totals, earning himself the American league MVP award in the process.
