Description

1991-95 Don Mattingly Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9. Don Mattingly adopted an interesting concept when numbering his bats. Since many would disappear when "23" was written on the knob, Donnie Baseball took to writing numbers of retired Yankee greats on his bats to deter five finger discounts. This Louisville Slugger model T141 bat (34" and 31.6 ounces) has Mickey Mantle's "7" written on both ends. The lumber exudes great use with checking on the back barrel from repeated contact. Blue transfer marks appear just below the "New York Yankees" barrel branding. Pine tar accumulation adds the perfect dose of personality to the uncracked gem - graded PSA/DNA GU 9. "7" and "2" (weight) are written on both ends. Mattingly signed the barrel in 10/10 black felt tip. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 9. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph).
