2000's Babe Ruth Original Artwork by Ron Stark.Ron Stark is descended from another giant in the field, Bruce Stark, who captivated readers of The New York Daily News for decades with his caricatures and realistic depictions of all the stars of the era. From his studio in Florida, the younger Stark has navigated his own path to sports art acclaim, and this spectacular oil on board is a showcase for his elite talent. The greatest slugger in baseball's long and glorious history is shown with plenty of well-wishers just behind him. Babe Ruth is clad in his jersey and settled in near a wooden barricade here. The masterpiece measures 19x25" in its entirety. "Stark" appears on lower left.
