Description

1986-87 Sidney Moncrief Game Worn & Signed Milwaukee Bucks Jersey. One of the toughest two-way players in NBA history, Sidney Moncrief was known for lighting up scoreboards and shutting down opponents. What's more, his game worn jerseys are also probably the rarest of any star player of the 1980's.

Sir Sid's road forest green road knit presented here sports "Bucks 4" on the front with "Moncrief" arched on the verso nameplate and "4" below, all screened-on in white and green heat transfers, Meanwhile, multi-hue trim adorns the v-neck collar, arm yokes, and side panels with MacGregor Sand-Knit tagging in the tail for size, extra length, season, and exclusivity. Furthermore, the front numeral is signed "Sidney Moncrief 4" in 9/10 vintage red marker. Exhibits moderate wear and would stand as a signature piece in any top-tier 1980's uniform display.

A consensus first team All-American at Arkansas and fifth overall pick of the 1979 NBA Draft, Sid's ten-season tenure in Milwaukee produced five All-Star berths, two Defensive Player of the Year awards, and reputation as one of the league's premier two-guards. Jersey is accompanied by a letter of provenance from a notable collector who worked with Arkansas Razorbacks equipment managers to obtain it straight from the Milwaukee Bucks. Letter of provenance from original owner. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
