1911 T205 Hassan Irvin Wilhelm (Suffered) SGC 80 EX/NM 6 - None Higher! It took an entire century to discover this amazing rarity. Followers of the T205 series know Irvin Wilhelm has always been a scarce subject within the glorious Gold Border production. Wilhelm cards bearing his over the shoulder portrait show a printer's mishap which resulted in the word "suffered" on the 18th line of copy to read "suffe ed," missing the necessary "r". The error appears have gone unchecked as the majority of cards bear this production faux pas. The corrected variant is found on cards that bear scarcer brands like "Hassan" and "Cycle." The colors are rich and the metallic gold frame has held richness and vibrancy. Graded SGC 80 EX/NM 6, one of three at the 80 EX/NM 6 level with none higher!Auction Info
