Description

1915 Cracker Jack Harry Hooper #35 PSA NM-MT 8. The Pittsburgh Press called his home run-saving catch off a Larry Doyle drive in the final game of the 1912 World Series one of the finest in the history of the sport. That praise would transfer to Willie Mays during the 1954 fall classic. Harry was a quiet and reserved man who spent quite a bit of time in the spotlight as no other man had tasted World Series glory in a Boston uniform as often as did Hooper. He is the only player present for each of the four trips the Red Sox took to the mountaintop between 1912 and 1918. Offered is one of the finest 1915 Cracker Jack card featuring Harry Hooper. Graded PSA NM-MT 8. Pop nineteen in NM/MT with four higher from a total pop of ninety-three.
