1937 Exhibits 4 on 1 Complete Set (16) - Ranked #1 All-Time & Current Finest on the PSA Set Registry! When the depression hit America in 1929, the Exhibit Supply Co. began including four players on each card. A modest set of 16 cards would be like a kid getting 64 different players... all for the same price as before. With bubble gum cards exploding in 1933, the arcade card was taking a back seat in the market, and today, these mid-30s promotions are found far less often, giving collectors a run for their money. The scarce 1937 edition consists of 16 cards - one for each Major League team at the time. The Indians card features a rookie appearance by Bob Feller, and the Yankees card has aging legend Lou Gehrig and "Joltin' Joe" DiMaggio! This is one of only two cards that feature the pair on one card.Our offered set has a GPA of 5.8 earning it the #1 spot on the All-Time Finest list on the PSA Set Registry! Even for its modest size, putting together a complete set is not easy by any means, let alone a set where just one card falls slightly below the EX-level!
