Description

2006 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Championship Ring.
Ending the team's longest World Series drought since defeating Babe Ruth's Bronx Bombers in 1926, the red birds earned their tenth World Championship (and their first since 1982) after a dominant five-game performance against the American League pennant-winning Detroit Tigers. Here we find the ultimate symbol of baseball's highest achievement, a stunning and massive Championship "B-version" ring presented to a member of the Cardinals front office staff.

Effectively identical in style to the one presented to future Hall of Famer Albert Pujols, this regal creation instantly draws the eye with thirty-two fancy-cut rubies forming the Cardinals logo on a bed of 1.8 carats of genuine diamonds. "St. Louis Cardinals World Champions" decorates the perimeter of the face in bold raised lettering. The left shank features a Busch Stadium in miniature and the name of the original presentee. Right shank features the birds and bat team logo, a miniature World Series trophy, and the words "2006, Tenth World Series Title."

The interior of the size twelve and a half (12.5) band is stamped "Intergold 10K." Total weight is forty-six grams (46 g.). Ring presents in Near Mint condition and is housed in its original wooden display case. Original appraisal paperwork.
