Description

1950's Jim Konstanty Single Signed Baseball. He pitched against the Yanks in the 1950 World Series as a member of the Whiz Kid Phillies, but he came to his senses in 1954, spending the next three seasons in the Bronx. Konstanty passed away in 1976--well before the autograph show circuit was born--so his singles are exceedingly rare, and this is a real beauty. His "Best Wishes, Jim Konstanty" text is applied in 10/10 ink to the sweet spot of a "Official Cotton States League" ball. No other Konstanty single exists in any major auction results database, so bid now or forever hold your peace. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
