Description

1974-75 George Adams Game Worn San Diego Conquistadors (ABA) Jersey. One of the most interesting of the ABA franchises were the San Diego Conquistadors. In their three seasons of existence (1972-75), the Q's played their home games at three different arenas (Peterson Gymnasium, Golden Hall and San Diego Sports Arena) and had four head coach's (K.C. Jones, Wilt Chamberlain, Alex Groza and Beryl Shipley).

Six-five guard George Adams was a Conquistador for the franchise's entire ABA tenure and here is his gamer. Road red knit jersey reports "San Diego 12" on the front and "Adams 12" on the verso, all sewn-on in white on yellow tackle twill. Yellow/white trim accentuates the rounded collar and arm yokes, while tagging includes a "Spanjan 44" label and "XL" flap tag. The jersey exhibits evidence of solid season-long use, including frayed/pliable identifiers and tagging. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
