Description
Signed 1955 Topps All-American Ed Weir #3 PSA NM 7, PSA/DNA Auto 8. Offered is a 1955 Topps All-American card that features Ed Weir, a standout defensive tackle at Nebraska in the mid-1920s. As the card back reads: "Ed was a powerhouse lineman who wouldn't yield an inch to enemy runners. No quarterback in the Midwest looked forward to facing a line led by Ed." He went on to play professionally for three seasons with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. The presented example of card #3 from the '55 Topps AA series has been signed by Weir in blue pen. He even added "1924" and "1925" next to his printed name and position on the lower portion of the card.
