1957 Topps Roberto Clemente #76 SGC NM/MT 8. The late, great Roberto Clemente was the perennial All-Star right fielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates who helped the Bucs win two World Series titles in 1960 and '71. A lifetime .317 hitter, he collected exactly 3,000 hits, and added 12 Gold Glove awards to his trophy case for his defensive excellence. Following tragic demise on Dec. 31, 1972, he was inducted posthumously into Cooperstown less than seven months later. He was only 38. Offered is a 1957 Topps card that shows the Hall of Famer up close wearing a smile. This example of card #76 from the '57 Topps set is found in high-grade fashion with outstanding color, clean white borders, four quality corners, and a flawless reverse. Graded SGC NM/MT 8.
