2005 Alex Rodriguez Game Worn & Signed New York Yankees Helmet - Photo Matched to 12 Games During MVP Season. There may not be a more documented Alex Rodriguez New York Yankees batting helmet in the collecting world. Baseball's controversial superstar, now back in good graces with fans, wore this batting helmet for at least a dozen games during his MVP season of 2005. Resolution Photomatching has definitively matched the headgear to the following games: 9/3, 9/11, 9/23, 9/24, 9/26, 9/30, 10/1, 10/4, 10/5, 10/7, 10/9 and 10/10.Excellent use is captured on the Yankee blue shell with various dings and scratches and moderate pine tar buildup. "13" is stickered on both sides and an "MLB" sticker is featured on back. A-Rod signed the side and added "2005 Game Used AL MVP" in bold silver paint pen. A signed letter by Rodriguez and Yankees-Steiner letter further secure authentication. Simply put, the finest helmet from A-Rod's Gotham City career. Letter of provenance signed by Alex Rodriguez.
