1948 Bowman Yogi Berra Rookie #6 SGC VG-EX 4. Did you know that New York Yankees catcher Yogi Berra bested both Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle when it came to the championship rings department? As a player, Yogi helped the Yanks claim 10 World Series titles during his 18 seasons in pinstripes. He also earned three AL MVP awards (1951, '54 and '55) so his accolades behind the plate were really second to none. Presented is Yogi's always popular 1948 Bowman rookie card. Card #6 from the black-and-white set shows the 5' 7" Berra taking a cut with his preferred weapon of choice. This mid-grade example exhibits a pretty clean surface, front and back.
