1934-36 Diamond Stars Lefty Grove (1935) #1 PSA VG 3. Hall of Fame southpaw Lefty Grove pitched for the Philadelphia Athletics (1925 to '33) as well as the Boston Red Sox (1934 to '41) during his illustrious career. The six-time All-Star recorded exactly 300 victories and won a pair of World Series with the A's in 1929 and '30). The 1931 AL MVP, Grove led the American League in strikeouts in seven different seasons. Offered is a 1935 Diamond Stars card (#1) that utilizes a nice color illustration of Grove throwing a pitch for the Red Sox. This example is found in Very Good condition with rich colors, four strong corners and a clean reverse. Graded PSA VG 3.
