2012 Mariano Rivera Game Worn & Signed New York Yankees Jersey--Photo Matched! On April 19, 2012 Rivera shut the door against the Twins in order en route to his third save of the season. Rivera wore this "Majestic size 46" pinstriped jersey the night he registered the save. We have photomatched the jersey to the contest. Getty Images #143269197 perfectly matches the placement of the interlocking "NY" on front while another image (143269128 with Jeter) matches the reverse digits. The placement of the back "2", especially the bottom portion, runs right along a pinstripe for an easy photo match.These tags are sewn in the tail: Majestic (MLB Authentic EK 090422 and Steiner 193185), "2012," size and Yankees inventory. Majestic's "0062" inventory code is secured inside. Rivera inscribed the following on back: "Best Wishes Last to Wear #42 99 W.S. MVP 12xAS GU 4-18-12 vs. Twins Saves #606 all time saves leader." Mo was off one day with his inscription. We checked the MLB database under the hologram and it lists this for the session date: "Game-used Jersey April 19, 2012." MLB Authentic EK 090422.
