1933 Goudey Babe Ruth #144 PSA VG 3. Of the tens of thousands of cards issued since the 1880's there are just a handful that have come to represent not just a brand, or player of even a sport but they come to signify the entire hobby itself. The 1933 Goudey series is rightfully considered a trading card masterpiece which features Babe Ruth on no less than four cards. The 240 mini-portraits capture the very essence of the Depression-era game. Babe Ruth striking his classic batting pose that makes him look as larger-than-life as was his personality and international appeal.
