Description
1954 Bowman Ted Williams #66 PSA EX-MT 6. Ted Williams no more than a legend in the batter's box. In the hobby, his 1954 Bowman card is the fuel for legend for being the card that never should have been. Legal disputes forced Bowman to pull card #66 from their '54 effort resulting in limited circulation and a Jimmy Piersall replacement card. Years later hobby legend Larry Fritsch would tell how he opened a 5-cent pack of 1954 Bowman and found not one but an entire pack of Ted Williams cards.
