Description
1993 Dave Winfield Game Worn & Signed Minnesota Twins Jersey. Winny was still putting up respectable numbers in his twenty-first Major League season at age forty-one, a testament to his talent, athleticism, conditioning, and ability to adapt. Big Dave wore the gamer offered here during the 1993 campaign when he posted twenty-one homers, seventy-six RBI, and a .271 batting mark.Road gray jersey with midnight navy pinstripes must have made the 6-6 Winfield appear even more towering and imposing to opposing pitchers. "Minnesota 32" on the front and "Winfield 32" on the back are all sewn-on in red and midnight navy tackle twill. Also, there is a team patch on the left sleeve and three Velcro tags have been included to secure the button path. Furthermore, the garment display a "93-2" tag in the collar and two more tags in the tail, namely Russell Athletic 50" and "2" Extra Length."
The jersey exhibits light game wear and is signed on the verso by the Hall of Famer in bold, black sharpie "Dave Winfield '93." LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
