Description

1936 Goudey Paul Waner PSA NM-MT 8 - Only One Higher! Paul "Big Poison" Waner is best remembered for his fifteen seasons of service to the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Hall of Famer and 1927 NL MVP winner racked up 237 hits, 131 RBIs and a .380 batting average, leading the Pirates to the 1927 World Series where they would meet the irresistible force of New York's Murderer's Row. Almost 20 years after that career year, Waner recorded his 3,152nd and final career hit for the New York Yankees, the only base hit he posted over ten pinstriped games. Graded PSA NM-MT 8 with sharp corners and image.
