1928 G. Ruth Candy Co. Babe Ruth #1 PSA NM 7. Babe Ruth was for a time the most recognizable man on the planet. It is only befitting he had a candy that bore his name. As advertised, a set of six cards could be exchanged for the treasured prize of a Babe Ruth signed baseball. This could certainly explain why these cards are so hard to find. Beware of reissues and reproductions, but rest assured this is the genuine article. Not only genuine but the combination of the bright white, high quality card stock, black print and sharper quality portraits are the finest combination one would certainly want for their collection. Offered is card #1 featuring Babe Ruth from a scene from the 1927 "Babe Comes Home" movie.
