1980 Moscow Summer Olympics Participation Medal. These are quite rare in the United States, as our nation boycotted the Moscow Games while Cold War tensions were high. Design by Angelina Leonova features Moscow Games emblem above stadium on obverse, with view of Red Square on verso. Copper/zinc medal weighs 125 grams and measures 60 mm. in diameter.
