Description

1952-64 Mickey Mantle World Series Home Runs Ticket Stubs Display (16). Cy Young's 512 victories. Nolan Ryan's 5,714 strikeouts. Sam Crawford's 309 triples. There are a few records in Major League Baseball that may be safer than the Mick's tally of World Series long balls, but not many. Admittedly the path to the pennant is far more treacherous than it had been during Mantle's time, when the regular season decided the pennant among only eight teams per league, but opportunity is only part of the equation.

Despite an injury-plagued career that saw Mantle significantly hobbled almost every year as the leaves started to change colors, the Hall of Fame outfielder was most dangerous on the game's biggest stage. His 536 career regular season home runs came in 8,102 at bats, an average of 15.1 to one. In the World Series, his 230 at-bats produced eighteen long balls, factoring at 12.7 to one.

Here we present a full run of ticket stubs that saw Mantle stamp his name in the Fall Classic record books. Condition ranges from a technical Fair to NRMT. Framed dimensions 25x36".
