2018 Luka Doncic Game Worn Dallas Mavericks Rookie Jersey with Team Letter--Photo Matched! Dirk who?

Ok, that may be overstating matters slightly, and the global headquarters of Heritage Auctions are in Dallas, so we understand better than most just how tough it was to say goodbye to the face of the franchise after twenty-one years of Hall of Fame-caliber service. But as one European superstar rode off into the sunset at the close of the 2018-19 season, another Maverick, sourced from the opposite side of the Atlantic, was making his presence known in a big way, earning the 2019 NBA Rookie of the Year Award and a new generation of fans in the Lone Star State.

A letter on NBA/MeiGray letterhead (and a handwritten notation on the jersey's tagging) assigns this gamer to a November 19, 2018 visit to the Memphis Grizzlies. Doncic play thirty-seven minutes in the 98-88 defeat, recording fifteen points and ten rebounds for his first NBA career double-double. He'd likewise register three assists and a blocked shot.

The style is a real looker, with "Dallas" sandwiched between a silhouetted skyline and Doncic's number "77." Nike and "5 Miles" sponsorship logos appear above. Verso identifies the original owner by surname and jersey number, while an NBA logo and a golden "1" tag (indicating tally of franchise championships) appear above. Lower left front tail bears "Nike NBA Authentics [size] 52" tagging framed by a serial coded inventory swatch and a "Length +6" tailoring flap tag.
