1958 Swedish Rekord Journal Pele & Manoel Santos (Hand Cut) Rookie BVG NM-MT 8. The rookie card of the greatest practitioner of the world's most popular sport can and should be considered one of the most significant cardboard commemoratives on the planet. The Swedish derivation of this ultra-rare commemorative is due to that nation's hosting of the 1958 World Cup, where this teenaged Brazilian led his nation to the sport's ultimate glory with a pair of goals to defeat the host nation by a tally of five to two. Pele shares this card with star teammate Manoel Francisco Santos, better known as Garrincha, considered one of the greatest dribblers of all time.Graded BVG NM-MT 8. Offered is his 1958 Swedish Rekord Journal card, carefully hand Cut with M. Santos. Pele will always hold sway as the king of the sport, and with so little of these cards appearing in the entirety on any population report to satisfy a fan base literally counted in the billions.
