Description

1933 George C. Miller Goose Goslin PSA EX 5 - Pop Three, Only One Higher! The 1933 George C. Miller set, issued in one-cent packages of toffee during the grim days of the Great Depression, features unique artwork that is very much of that era. The thirty-two card set features sixteen AL ballplayers and sixteen of their NL counterparts. Offered is a card of Hall of Fame slugger, Goose Goslin. His real name was Leon, but the avian nickname was apropos because of his surname and a proboscis that lived up to the billing. He was also a fine hitter, as he won the 1928 batting title while he was with the Senators. Graded PSA EX 5. Three at this grade with one higher from a total population of twenty-nine.
