1959 Topps Sandy Koufax #163 PSA Mint 9 - None Higher! The Brooklyn Dodgers were in line to finally lay claim to a long-awaited World Championship when they added a young flame-thrower named Koufax in their staff 1955. The youthful and deceptively innocent-looking pitcher -- seen here on yet another Topps card flashing that classic smile -- stood ready to join such heroes as Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider, Roy Campanella and Gil Hodges, in turning the team's fortunes which would change forever. The collecting hobby admires Koufax to this day as he has never relinquished its status as having some of the most visually captivating gum cards ever made.Graded PSA Mint 9. One of seventeen graded MINT with none rated higher.
