1887-90 N172 Old Judge Joe Werrick (#489-3) SGC 50 VG-EX 4. One of the largest sets of trading cards ever produced, the Old Judge set of 1887-90 features a master set list of thousands different poses that depict hundreds of baseball players, many of whom were not photographed too often during their lifetimes. The cards are actually very small sepia-toned photographs (other tints are known). Offered is a rare N172 card of Joe Werrick, shown here with his hometown St. Paul Apostles of the Western Association. Graded SGC 50 VG-EX 4.Auction Info
