1949 JDM2 Menko Large Mask Die Cut Baseball Complete Set (8). One of the more unique and certainly obscure baseball issues to come out of Japan are the 1949 JDM2 Large Die-Cut Masks. Each "mask" measures roughly 7 ΒΌ" featuring the face of a Japanese baseball player with die-cut eyes meant to be punched out allowing them to be worn. Offered is a complete set of all eight cards. Checklist includes: Takehiko Bessho, Kaoru Betto, Yasuyo Hondo, Tetsuharu Kawakami, Michio Nishizawa, Jiro Noguchi, Hiroshi Oshita and Kiyoshi Sugiura. Overall EX/MT with no creasing, tape, etc.. Typical edge toning on the reverse. Each mask is intact with eye outlets still unpunched.
