1939-40 Cincinnati Reds Team Signed Baseball. The twenty-five man roster of signers presented on this team ball clearly date to a reunion of the National and World Champion 1939 and 1940 teams, as they appear upon an ONL (Giles) ball first produced in 1951. Notable names include Lombardi, Walters, McKechnie, Vander Meer, McCormick, Joost, Riggs, Goodman, Frey and more. Signature quality is a consistent 8/10 to 9/10 throughout, and ball remains clean and creamy-white. Certainly one of the strongest team balls we've encountered relating to that period of dominance in the birthplace of professional ball. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.Auction Info
