1909-11 T206 Piedmont 150/25 Christy Mathewson (Portrait) SGC Poor 1. Christy Mathewson joined Ruth, Wagner, Cobb and Johnson as members of the first class to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936. It was a distinction that was well earned, considering his career accomplishments which include leading the league in wins (four times), strikeouts (five times), winning 30 or more games (four times), plus pitching four shutouts, and ten complete games in World Series competition. And then there are those 373 regular season victories. The reverse displays a Piedmont 150/25 back. Graded SGC Poor 1 due to paper loss on the front.Auction Info
