1967 Topps Test Stand Ups Rusty Staub #17 (Thick, Die-Cut Variety). Among the absolute rarest Topps test sets of the 1960's are the Stand Ups edition from 1967. Only 24 subjects were chosen for this test product consisting of 3-1/8" x 5-1/4" cards die-cut so that the players portrait (the ever popular "decapitation" style) and a base could be punched out resulting in a stand alone collectible. Offered is card #17 Rusty Staub of the Houston Astros. There are slight areas of surface wear and one wrinkle from the top of his cap to the top edge. Otherwise, this beauty presents in EX/MT to NM condition. A great card for the type collector as this entry is missing from many type-collections.Auction Info
