Description
1950s Brooklyn Dodgers Pennants, Lot of 3. The Brooklyn Dodgers were a beloved baseball team whose history spanned from the late 19th century until their move to Los Angeles in 1958. Originally known by several nicknames, including the "Trolley Dodgers," they became a symbol of Brooklyn pride and working-class spirit. The team's most historic moment came in 1947 when Jackie Robinson broke Major League Baseball's color barrier, forever changing the sport and American society. The Dodgers finally captured their first World Series title in 1955 after years of heartbreak against the New York Yankees, cementing their legacy before relocating to California and leaving an enduring emotional mark on Brooklyn.Offered are three pennants from the Bums days, including one celebrating the 1955 World Series and 1956 World Series. Sizes range from eight inches to twenty-eight inches. Felt abrasions, holes, color fading exhibited.
