1909-11 T206 Polar Bear Ray Demmitt (St. Louis) SGC 20 Fair 1.5. Ray Demmitt made his debut in 1909 with the New York Highlanders. He was traded to the St. Louis Browns for the 1910 season but after just ten games with St. Louis he was dismissed to an Eastern League assignment. While those cards featuring Demmitt as a member of the future "Yankees" are available, the St. Louis variation continues to bedevil collectors a century later. Graded SGC 20 Fair 1.5.Auction Info
