Description
1991 Dave Barr Game Issued Detroit Red Wings Jersey. This lot was originally obtained from former Detroit Red Wings staffer Dominic Marra. During the mid-1980's through the early 1990's, the beloved dressing room assistant developed a close friendship with players such as Steve Yzerman and Gerard Gallant. We are proud to present a wide array of hockey memorabilia that Marra collected throughout his career in the Motor City, and these were consigned directly from Marra's nephew.Offered here is star right winger Dave Barr's game-issued jersey from the 1991 season. Exhibiting no wear, the red mesh away Red Wings shirt has an embroidered "91" inside the bottom hem, which indicates what year it was intended to be used. Sewn-on identifiers are affixed, while the proper "EastSide" and "Maska [size] 52" tags are in the collar. Letter of provenance from the consignor. LOA from Joe Tomon.
